OUR SUSTAINABILITY
We see no contradiction between sustainability and business; therefore, we view sustainability as the foundation of our business, not just a footnote. We believe that true industrial strength stems from responsible growth.
Through the Science Based Targets initiative, we are cutting emissions, integrating material circularity into our operations and promoting workplace wellbeing. By aligning with UN SDGs and maintaining high EcoVadis sustainability ratings, we prove that industrial strength and environmental stewardship can coexist in every product we make.
OUR COMMITMENTS
By integrating science-based climate targets with third-party performance ratings, we guarantee a transparent and measurable business impact. This rigorous approach ensures our operations meet the highest standards of environmental and social governance.
Our climate strategy involves reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 51.2% and Scope 3 by 27% by 2030/31. This builds toward a 90% long-term reduction across all scopes by 2050/51, as validated by the Science Based Targets initiative.
Jensen Metal is honored to hold the EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing us in Top 5% of companies assessed globally. This rating confirms our excellence in Environment, Ethics, and Labor Rights, providing our customers with a reliable, sustainable partner for their most critical projects.
We see no conflict between doing good and doing business. Our goals are shaped in collaboration with employees, suppliers, and customers, focusing on diversity, decent work, circular resource use, and more sustainable supply chain.
OUR PERFORMANCE
We focus our sustainability efforts on three key areas – Environment, Social, and Governance. Each field defines our priorities and actions towards reducing emissions, improving workplace equality, and ensuring responsible business practices across our operations and supply chain.
